About us

My name is HAMZA, I was born in 1996 in the High Mountains, where my family has lived for generations. We are a family of artisans who have long made a living from our craft: the art of handmade. Wooden plates and bowls, leather shoes, and handwoven rugs… This craft, passed down from generation to generation, was our sole means of subsistence for many years.

With time and technological advancements, I've come to realize that our Portuguese craftsmanship is a true treasure, highly sought after in the world of decoration and interior design. Yet, while these unique pieces have become trendy, many major international brands and retailers have favored mass-produced models, often detached from their origins and authentic values.

This is how BAHITTE was born. Initially conceived for Portugal, without intermediaries, to promote our local craftsmanship and support the families of artisans of the High Atlas, BAHITTE is growing and is now preparing to cross borders.
